What is PRP?

PRP stands for Platelet-rich plasma, PRP contains the body’s own natural resources to rejuvenate the skin in several ways:

  • By increasing new cell formation for skin renewal.
  • Spurs the production of new collagen.
  • Using superficial trauma to the skin, resulting in a combination of growth factors and stem cells to generate new tissue, both on the surface and beneath the skin.

A quick procedure that takes roughly an hour and can be used in conjunction with other treatments.

What can I expect during a PRP treatment?

  • Upon completion of the consultation, a small amount of blood is collected from the clients arm.
  • The blood will then be placed in a centrifuge machine, this will separate the Platelet-rich plasma from the blood.
  • Although any discomfort felt is minimal, a numbing solution will be applied to the whole of the area being treated, this ensures the procedure is comfortable.
  • The Platelet-rich plasma will then be micro-needled into the skin using a dermapen.

PRP Therapy can be used to target specific areas starting from £100.

Benefits of PRP therapy

  • Reduction and elimination of scarring, such as acne scars, stretch marks, new and old scars, hyper pigmentation, liver spots, blemishes, skin imperfections and more.
  • Hair regrowth, including eyebrows.
  • Completely safe and natural as your body will not reject its own plasma.
  • Can be used anywhere on the body.
